When I was a child, things seemed a lot bigger than they actually were. The trees, the buildings, the ponds, the flowers, the adults all seemed so big and overwhelming. This goes the same for the problems and situations we faced as children which ,in retrospect, seem simple as they could be, but ,at the moment, were such big adventures.

I remembered this feeling when I was reading Jon Par's stories, so I also tried to capture it in these story illustrations. It is such a joyful thing to channel the inner child every once in a while.
